THE BRIEF
Create an imaginary band using the name picked out of a hat at random. Develop an idea of their story, music, style, sound, and aesthetic, and then create three vinyl albums and a series of gig posters for their world tour.
ABOUT MUTED CHAOS
Muted Chaos is a (fictional) 4-person Indie-folk band that was originally founded by 3 childhood friends from Juneau, Alaska with a passion for the outdoors and sophisticated instrumentation. The founding members include Daniel Gallagher (lead vocals, guitar, trumpet), Nick Faulkner (vocals, piano, percussion), and Gabriel Crawford (vocals, bass, clarinet, oboe). About 9 months after its first premier, the band accepted a new member, Gabe's cousin from Reykjavík, Iceland, Jocelyn Bell (cello, banjo). With the addition of the new acoustic string instruments, Muted Chaos's unique sound and style was born.
